This little device completely transformed how my Silverado handles on the highway. Before plugging it in, the truck constantly dropped into V4 mode and bogged down every time I hit a slight incline, creating an annoying vibration and sluggish throttle response. Now it stays in V8 mode all the time, delivering crisp power and smooth acceleration whenever I touch the pedal. Installation took literally ten seconds under the dashboard with zero tools required.

I was skeptical about plug-and-play OBD-II modules because I didn't want anything messing with my factory warranty or computer settings. After reading up on the common lifter failures associated with GM cylinder deactivation, I decided to give this a try for peace of mind. It runs invisibly in the background, keeps all eight cylinders firing constantly, and leaves zero electronic footprint if you ever need to unplug it for dealer service. Worth every single penny.

Towing my camper trailer used to be a frustrating experience with my Sierra because the transmission was constantly hunting for gears while the engine rapidly cycled between V4 and V8 mode. Putting this disabler in changed everything instantly. The power delivery is steady, predictable, and strong, and that horrible surging shudder is completely gone. It makes heavy hauling feel effortless and natural again.

If you own a modern GM V8 truck or SUV, buying this is an absolute no-brainer. The factory cylinder deactivation system creates an irritating rhythmic drone and hesitation at cruising speeds that drove me crazy on long road trips. With this module plugged in, the engine stays smooth, quiet, and responsive across all cylinders. My fuel economy barely changed by a fraction of a mile per gallon, but the massive upgrade in drivability is priceless.

Plugged it into my Yukon Denali the day it arrived in the mail and noticed an immediate difference pulling out of the driveway. The annoying hesitation when rolling away from stoplights has completely vanished. It gives the vehicle the authentic, solid V8 feel it should have had straight from the factory floor. The build quality feels robust, and the status LED confirms it is working right away.

As a retired mechanic, I’ve seen firsthand how destructive constant cylinder deactivation cycles can be on valvetrain lifters and internal pins over high mileage. Permanent ECU tunes can be risky and expensive, but this external hardware approach is genius. It locks out the deactivation routines safely while letting you revert back to stock in five seconds flat. Exceptional engineering and brilliant execution.

My Tahoe was suffering from that dreaded intermittent transmission shudder and rough transition between cylinder modes that dealerships love to brush off as normal operating behavior. Within five minutes of plugging this module in, the erratic shifting and shuddering disappeared entirely. The vehicle drives like a completely different machine now, smooth and powerful under any throttle input.

Shipping was remarkably fast, and the packaging was clean and professional. I opened it up, walked out to my Suburban, plugged it into the diagnostic port under the steering column, and started the engine. The green indicator light lit right up, and my V8 has been firing on all cylinders continuously ever since. Excellent product backed by great customer support.

I commute fifty miles each way for work mostly down the interstate, and the constant dropping into four-cylinder mode was giving me a headache from the low-frequency drone and micro-vibrations. This disabler solved the issue completely on day one. The cabin is quieter, the throttle response is instant when passing slower traffic, and I finally enjoy driving my truck again.

Outstanding performance and total reliability. I have left mine plugged in 24/7 for months through extreme summer heat and daily driving without a single glitch or battery drain issue. The ultra-low power sleep mode works perfectly when the ignition is turned off. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to protect their GM engine from unnecessary wear.

I was worried that keeping all cylinders active would ruin my fuel economy on long highway trips, but after tracking it closely over several tankfuls, the difference is practically unnoticeable—maybe half a mile per gallon at most. Considering how much smoother the power delivery is and how much stress it takes off the valvetrain, it is an incredible trade-off.

Installation genuinely took less time than opening the box. You just reach under the driver side dash, find the standard OBD-II port, and push it in until it clicks. The engine management system instantly locks out cylinder deactivation without any complicated programming or software downloads. Absolute perfection for DIY truck owners.

My Escalade rides like a true luxury vehicle again. The factory AFM system used to cause a slight hesitation and surging sensation whenever I lightly feathered the throttle on the freeway. This little module completely smoothed out the power curve. It feels solid, planted, and responsive every single time I step on the gas pedal.

Peace of mind alone makes this worth ten times the price. Knowing that my lifters aren't constantly undergoing thermal shock and mechanical pinning cycles hundreds of times per drive lets me relax on long road trips. My mechanic friend looked it over and gave it two thumbs up for protecting the engine long term.

Exceptional customer service and a product that actually delivers on every single promise it makes. The vehicle pulls smoothly through all gears without that annoying dead spot in the throttle pedal when transitioning from partial cylinder mode back to full power. I will be recommending this to everyone in my local truck club.

Driving through hilly terrain used to trigger endless gear hunting and cylinder switching on my Sierra. Now the truck holds its gear, maintains speed effortlessly, and sounds robust all the time. It is easily the best investment I have made for my vehicle this year.

The build quality on the module is solid, with a nice low-profile design that doesn’t get in the way of your knees or feet when getting in and out of the driver's seat. The indicator light is subtle yet clear enough to let you know everything is operating correctly. Truly top-tier accessories.

No ECU flashing, no permanent code writing, and total reversibility. If you have any anxiety about warranty issues or dealership service visits, this is the exact solution you need. Unplug it in thirty seconds before your appointment, and nobody will ever know it was there. Brilliant design.

The elimination of the V4 shudder is nothing short of miraculous. My wife even noticed the difference immediately from the passenger seat, commenting on how much quieter and smoother the ride felt on our weekend road trip. No more annoying vibrations or strange engine sounds.
